Hello everybody. For ye of little faith, here is the inaugral post of our journey across America. Adam Jahnke. Charlie Kent. Jordan Laughlin. Jeremy Nuttall. Mike Roddy.
For those a little confused about the tense of our blog title, it's an imagining of what people might say after the traveling circus rolls through town.
"They were the smelliest sons of bitches I've ever known, but their bikes were solid, and they were solid young men. We traded a few words, they filled their bottles from my spigot, and then... they rode west."

Sounds like the first day was a tough one - 123 miles in the rain !! Watch those knees, though. I think Virginia was one fo the prettiest states to bicycle through. Enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteI have yet to make out a menu but Adam's mother and dad and the kiddo's will be here on Friday, so she can help me with it. We are so excited to see all of you. I sure hope everyone stays in good enough shape to ride. You all look darn good from the pictures you have already sent. Adam, I am so proud of you. Hopefully your knee will stay in good shape for you. Tell your friends the view from here is terrific, especially when it is seen after a great dinner!
