To Catch a Thief

Hi all,

Typing from the library in Fallon, Nevada. The AC adapter for the laptop I've been using was stolen earlier today, so there may be some delay in further updates of the blog. Still have the laptop - no need to worry Mr. Kent. I've purchased a new cord online and shipped it ahead. Give you the whole story in a few days.

Wishing you a continually delightful summer,
-Mike Roddy

  1. Mike,

You are making great use of that laptop. When you get back, you can keep it for your next trip. I have another one that uses Windows XP that I prefer over the Linux one.

Look forward to seeing you guys.

  5. Well guys you are rounding the corner and back in California by now. The state with a little of all that you just rode through, farm land, desert, mountains and the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
From the Appalachian Mts,to the Ozarks,Great Rocky Mountians, Canyonlands to the High Sierras what a ride.
Jordan I have come out of you back pocket and up onto your shoulder as you ride thru the pines in Tahoe and Polock Pines. Just take a deep breath and enjoy the perfume of the Cedars and Ponderosa Pines. Lovely.
Mike I have enjoyed your Blogs and thankyou for your photo journalism also. Grandpa and I are so looking forward to seeing and hearing Jordan's journal and hearing all his tales when we see him again. And Jer, I think you look good, everyone says you are so thin, but I think you look real good for all those miles you have just riden.
Soon you will all be "hanging ten" on the surf boards instead of on the bike pedals.
These were the best of times, and the worst of times, but they were your times.
    Love to all,
    Jordan's Grannie Geri

What an accomplishment! Across the great USA on bicycles. We've missed you too. So when are you going to be on "survivor"? or at least Oprah...cruise by her pad in SB, maybe get a lemonade...or a peanut butter sandwich!
    See you soon
